Past Teaching

I began teaching in 2012 when I earned a Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults (CELTA). Since then, I have taught in schools in the UK (Bristol, London, York), France (Pau, Paris) and Cambodia (Phnom Penh). In 2019, I was recognized as an Associate Fellow by UK Advance HE (formerly Higher Education Academy). I am passionate about pedagogy and continually developing my teaching practice.

At King's College London between 2017 and 2020, I taught on the following courses:

  • 4AAFF120 Core French Language

  • 5AAFF200 Core French Language

  • 5AAFF238 The Practice of Translation

  • 5AAFF253 Death & Desire: Love in French Literature before 1700

In 2018 and 2019, I also ran ‘Essay Lab’, a weekly writing workshop for undergraduates in the French department.

At the University of Cambridge between 2021 and 2022, I taught on the following courses:

  • FR1 Introduction to French Literature, Film and Thought

  • FRB2 Translation from French
